By accessing and using ARCHIVE, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and your continued use of ARCHIVE constitutes acceptance of any changes.
What ARCHIVE Provides
ARCHIVE is a markdown vault application that allows you to store, organize, and share markdown notes and associated files. Our service includes features such as:
- Private and secure vault creation
- Markdown file storage with attachment support
- Folder organization and management
- Vault sharing with granular permissions
- Custom CSS styling for markdown rendering
- File upload and management capabilities
Account Creation
You must create an account to use ARCHIVE. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and to keep your account information up to date.
Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.
User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use ARCHIVE for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation
- Interfere with or disrupt the service
- Share your account credentials with others
Your Content
You retain all rights to the content you upload to ARCHIVE. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.
Our Intellectual Property
ARCHIVE and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our code or design without permission.
User Responsibility
You are solely responsible for the content you upload and share. You must have the legal right to upload and share all content in your vaults. We do not claim ownership of your content.
ARCHIVE provides storage space subject to fair use policies. We reserve the right to:
- Set storage limits per user account
- Limit file sizes and upload volumes
- Remove content that violates our policies
- Suspend or terminate accounts that exceed usage limits
Current storage limits and quotas are displayed in your account dashboard and may be updated from time to time.
You may not use ARCHIVE to:
- Store or distribute illegal, harmful, or offensive content
- Violate intellectual property rights of others
- Engage in unauthorized data collection or harvesting
- Distribute spam, malware, or phishing content
- Host content that violates privacy rights
- Use the service for cryptocurrency mining or similar resource-intensive operations
- Resell or redistribute our service without authorization
We strive to provide reliable service but cannot guarantee 100% uptime. We reserve the right to:
- Modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the service
- Perform maintenance that may temporarily interrupt service
- Update features and functionality
- Change or remove features with reasonable notice
We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes or extended downtime.
By You
You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.
By Us
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms of Service, engage in abusive behavior, or for any other reason we deem necessary to protect our service and users. We will provide notice when possible, except in cases of severe violations.
ARCHIVE is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. You use the service at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ARCHIVE and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use or inability to use the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months, if any.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ARCHIVE and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of ARCHIVE shall be resolved in the appropriate courts.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the application. Your continued use of ARCHIVE after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you should discontinue use of the service.

If any provision of these Terms of Service is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
